2 Strangers Rescue Rowlett Woman From Fire

ROWLETT (CBSDFW.COM) – A woman in Rowlett was rescued from her home on Friday morning during a fire. The incident happened in the 6400 block of Magnolia Lane. Emergency crews said that two Good Samaritans may have saved the woman’s life, and she is now asking for those heroic individuals to come back.

Carolyn Doughty’s home is a total loss after the fire at about 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation. But Doughty is thankful that she was able to get out alive and unharmed, and she credits two strangers who happened to be in the Rowlett neighborhood with taking the time to stop and help.
