Suspicious String Of Fires Continue In Frisco

FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM)  – Fire destroyed a third home in the past two months in the Grayhawk subdivision in Frisco.

While firefighters call all three ‘suspicious’, Fire Chief Mark Piland said he can’t say for certain the latest fire is connected to the other two.

Neighbors, however; are convinced.

“There is definitely someone causing some mischief because they all have been so close, “said Alyssa Majors who lives just down the street from two of the fires and a block away from Sunday’s fire.

Early Sunday morning no one was home at the two-story house on Burr Oak when it caught fire.

Investigators said it appears the fire started in the back of the house.

Two months ago a nearby home under construction caught on fire. A few weeks later another home under construction next door also caught on fire.
